AI courses
AI training for companies.
The staff learn to use artificial intelligence on the company’s own tasks. They also learn to build the simple digital tools the company buys from others today.
- Duration
- 6 to 12 months
- Participants
- The whole workforce
- Tools
- Vendor independent
- Funding
- BIO, up to 50 %
How the training works
The company’s tasks, not the subject.
We do not teach artificial intelligence as a subject. We teach the company’s own tasks, in the company’s own systems, with the company’s own staff. The participants practise on the quotes, routines and documents they already work with.
The training is vendor independent. We cover several tools, among them ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot. The skills then stay with the staff whatever tool the company settles on. The goal is that the company manages without us.
Seven modules
From the simplest upwards.
The modules are taken in order. Each module has a goal that can be verified.
- 01
Baseline measurement
For two weeks the participants log how long quotes, HSE reporting and other written work actually take. Without a number from before there is nothing to measure against afterwards.
After the module the company has a documented baseline.
- 02
AI in daily work and company instructions
Fixed AI profiles for the company describe what it does, how it writes and what it must never promise. Then comes daily use for quotes, email and customer replies, and the rules for what must never be entered.
After the module the participant can write first drafts with AI, and check and correct the answer.
- 03
Own knowledge base for training and HSE
Installation guides, operation and maintenance documents and HSE routines are gathered in a closed base built on the company’s own experience. New staff and apprentices no longer have to search or ask a colleague.
After the module the participant can add the company’s own documents and get answers from them on a phone.
- 04
Voice reporting from the field
Many are skilled tradespeople and reluctant writers. Reporting is then delayed or incomplete. The solution is to speak instead of writing. The AI turns a short voice message into a report.
After the module the participant can report progress, hours and deviations by voice in under a minute.
- 05
Management dashboard
The reports are gathered in one view showing progress, hours and deviations. Management reads the status instead of phoning around to collect it.
After the module the participant can set up, read and change the dashboard.
- 06
Build your own tools with AI
This is the module that pays for the rest. Calculators and forms are bought from external developers today, and every change becomes a new invoice. With AI coding tools the staff describe the logic themselves and get the tool built.
After the module the participant can change the tool without an external developer.
- 07
Internal knowledge transfer
Finally the company learns to train itself. The participants write their own training material and try it on a new employee or apprentice while we are still available.
After the module the company can run modules 01 to 05 on its own.
Scope and adjustment
Put together as needed.
The modules are combined as needed. The first ones suit the whole workforce, apprentices included. The dashboard and building your own tools are the two heaviest modules. They are usually limited to the managing director, project managers and the technical lead.
A full programme usually runs over six to twelve months, with training in blocks between jobs. We also run courses in production with 3D printers.

Funding
Funding through BIO Trøndelag.
Trøndelag County Council gives grants for training a company’s own employees through a scheme for training within the company, called BIO. The scheme gives priority to digitalisation and technology development among other things. AI training meets that priority when it is tied to a concrete change in the company.
- Grant, under 50 employees
- Up to NOK 300 000
- Grant, from 50 employees
- Up to NOK 500 000
- Share of approved costs
- Up to 50 %
- Grant per employee
- Up to NOK 100 000
- External training purchased
- At least one third of the costs
- Own hours counted at
- NOK 600 per hour
- Travel and administration
- Up to 10 %
- Completion
- Within 18 months of approval
There is no application deadline. Applications are handled continuously until the year’s budget is used, so early in the year is better than late. The company must have filed annual accounts for a full year of operation, and the training cannot start before the grant is approved. The scheme does not cover licences, equipment or work on websites.
The company applies itself at regionalforvaltning.no. IMISU helps with drafts of the application text and the training plan, and acts as the external provider. The county council decides each application, and a grant is not guaranteed.
The figures above come from the BIO Trøndelag guidelines for 2026, adopted on 6 May 2025. The scheme is Norwegian and applies to companies in Trøndelag.
